Product Description
Custom 5 Axis CNC Machined 316L Stainless Steel Medical Fluid Control Valve Body
This custom CNC-machined Medical Fluid Control Valve Body is manufactured from medical-grade 316L stainless steel using high-end 5-axis simultaneous machining centers. It features complex integrated composite structure, multi-channel internal flow passages, multi-stage precision inner bores, external thread connections, distributed threaded mounting holes and angled port surfaces.
Strict medical-level geometric tolerances, high sealing-surface finish and cleanliness requirements are applied for medical fluid system assembly. All dimensional, geometric tolerances and surface specifications are fully produced according to customer-approved 2D drawings or 3D models.
5-axis simultaneous machining completes complex flow-passage milling, boring, drilling, tapping and angled port processing within a single clamping setup. It eliminates cumulative positioning deviation caused by repeated re-clamping of traditional multi-process manufacturing. Excellent coaxiality, positional accuracy and surface consistency are achieved to meet high-cleanliness fluid circulation, corrosion-resistance and long-term reliable operation requirements for medical fluid control systems.
It is widely used in medical fluid delivery equipment, diagnostic analytical instruments, medical infusion systems, laboratory fluid control assemblies and medical automation devices.
Product Specifications
All final dimensions and tolerances are strictly implemented as per customer approved drawings.

5-Axis Machining Advantages & Technical Challenges
Feature Our Manufacturing Capability
Complex Structure Machining Deploy high-end 5-axis simultaneous machining centers. One-clamp finish complex inner flow-channel milling, angled port machining, boring, drilling and tapping. Effectively avoid multi-station transfer errors and repeated-clamping deviation generated by ordinary 3-axis CNC machines.
High-Precision Control Unified machining reference datum. Tightly control multi-bore coaxiality ≤0.03 mm and port-position tolerance ≤0.03 mm. Guarantee interchangeable assembly and stable fluid-sealing performance of medical fluid circuits.
Process Difficulty Medical-grade 316L stainless steel has poor machinability, easy to produce tool wear and internal burrs inside narrow flow channels. Integrated complex structure with intersecting multi-directional flow passages, threaded ports and angled mating faces. Secondary clamping will directly damage coaxiality and sealing accuracy. Medical components require burr-free internal flow channels for fluid safety.
Benefit of One-Clamp Forming 5-axis full-feature one-setup forming, zero repeated positioning offset. Stable batch dimensional consistency, greatly improve production yield for complex medical valve-body parts with intersected flow passages.
Surface Quality Precision finishing for sealing and flow-contact surfaces; thorough internal & external medical-level deburring. Zero residual burrs inside flow channels, suitable for high-purity medical-fluid working environment.

FAQ
Q: Why choose 5-axis simultaneous machining for this medical fluid control valve body?
A: This medical valve body has intricate intersecting internal flow channels, angled fluid ports and strict coaxiality & sealing-accuracy requirements. Conventional separate multi-axis processing will bring accumulated clamping errors and hard-to-remove internal burrs. 5-axis simultaneous machining completes all features in single clamping, achieves drawing-required precision and internal-channel cleanliness, fully fits high-purity fluid working conditions for medical and laboratory devices.
Q: What materials can you process for medical fluid-system projects?
A: We process medical-grade stainless steel, medical titanium alloy, aluminum alloy and high-performance polymer such as PEEK. Material certificates and inspection reports are available on demand.
Q: Can you produce parts fully based on customer drawings?
A: Yes. All components are fully custom-made according to your 2D drawings or 3D CAD files. We provide free DFM (Design for Manufacturability) review for medical parts prior to formal production.
Q: What surface treatments are suitable for 316L medical fluid control valve body?
A: Medical passivation and electropolishing are highly recommended for fluid-contact components. Combined with full internal-channel precision deburring, they enhance corrosion resistance and satisfy medical fluid-circuit cleanliness standards.
Q: Do you support both prototype and mass-production orders?
A: Absolutely. Our service scope includes prototype validation, small-batch trial and large-scale mass-manufacturing for medical fluid control valve bodies.
